this blog is so dead so i decided to share smth with u guys... You knw in this world you can't do things by yourself or alone. You need people help so you can get the work done. We need teamwork from everybody effort to get things done.
Let's say if this dance group there are 10  pple in the group, all 8 are giving their 100% and the rest of the 2 are giving 70%. So the 2 pple giving 70% are gonna pull down the rest of the members who are giving their 100%. So let's all give our 101% to the Lord...

Another thing is that even though how much u dislike the person for his or her character you still have to help him or her in what ever he or she does.  You see he or she is also created by the Lord, so we should all treat each other equally and treat them with respect. That's what i have learned this week during my school and working hours and even cell grp...

Everybody dun  give up... We are WINNERS!!!! JIA YOU.....Oh ya those whoare having exams JIA YOU... YOU CAN DO IT!!!!

November 4th, 2008 at 11:10am: Hey, all~ It has been a long time since someone post on the blog. I guess, it's about 17 weeks.  I guess that is because  everyone is busy with their A levels and O level. My exam is finished, and I'll be getting my "result" and the posting class next year. Quite exciting. Anyway, that is not my point. I just hope to wish all of the people who take exam who do very well for this exam, proceed and soar to a higher height. I wish you all all the best and I'll be supporting you all, though I can't really help.

Next thing is that, I'll be planning something for celebration if you all support the idea. Hope that it will be a break for all of you! Smilesz. Thanks!

Yo 5.1! this blog seems rather dead, so i'm here to liven it up! but don't you think liven is a weird word? hmm...anyway, i feel that 5.1 is a great place to be in! i feel like as if every single person fits in like a puzzle piece. and i know that God already has the puzzle picture for us already! so our job is just to...find the pieces, and solve them! slowly but surely.

the 'coolness' level in the place never drops. cell, cell outings(never had one for quite awhile), fellowships etc. i love all those! don't you?we share many laughters and joy, we share FOOD & most of all, we 'chiong' for God altogether! 

what's past is past. let's look forward in our lives, and see what God has in store for us. once the chance goes pass, it passes and may not come back. so lets all get ready all our weapons and 'shoo' the devil. ONWARDS, COMRADES!

M- it was ok but after looking at the KFC chicken, i felt sick again, And thanks to Yao Yi constant prayer, i have recovered after one day.
J- How you came out with today's sharing?
M- Basically, i have been trying to dwell on the foundation, i believe it is time for us as shepherds in our cell to start building the foundations stronger, including ourself, so bring us to the cross is where it begins.
J- So what do you think is the hardest for the cell member to practice?
M- Consistent time of prayer and quiet time, and reading the bible is the hardest due to their busy schedule. But is something all of us have to work hard, have to make an effort to priortise.
J- What is the plan for the cell after you enlist?
M- i will still be around, my 2 female interns will be taking centre stage.
J- Any final thought?
M- Love God, Everything stems from loving Him

Hey dudes (and dudets)! Rarr nawn here! As I was at dictionary.com searching, I came across this website (http://y-jesus.com/index.php). I read the article on whether Jesus is God. It was super cool how they used a non-christian way of arguing who Jesus is and they ended with two options, that Jesus was really God or a lunatic. Duh, the answer is GOD. The website is just awesome. So I wanna share it with you guys. Enjoy =)

HELLO EVERYONE FROM FIVE-ONE!

this is the coolest member of the cell blogging.

since i havent post anything here yet, i shall write something.

firstly, i am very hungry now and i wish i drove so i can drive you all out to have supper with me. ahhahahahaah. few more months, few more months...

secondly, since we're having the Ignite'08 Conference now, lets all be attentive and be expectant of what God is gonna do through this conference. =)

thirdly, i would like to encourage all of you helpful and lovable people to avail yourself to serve in a ministry. one good chance is to volunteer yourself as an usher for zone service! pls tell me if you are interested! and please be interested!!!!!!

fourthly, please keep your leaders and fello cell-members in prayer. =D pray for me, pray for me, pray for meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. HAHAHAAHHA. SIAO.

Hello how art thou

you know this verse, iron sharpen iron ?(Prov 27:17) you know you know ?
Iron is a tough metal, it is so strong that is commonly use in construction site. And it is famous for it strength that a sport is named after it - Iron man. In order iron could be made useful, it has to be wielded or filed from the raw material into it desired form, a process which could only be done by another material which has the same or higher density.
When we ourselves go through this process of filing it's always uncomfortable. I remember i used to pair up with someone in prayer, and decided to pray for 5 persons every week and share our findings when we met during week end. It was humiliating to know what i thought was right, was far from target when compared with someone. But there are times faith really doubled when i believe there were progress.I believed that during those months i benefited working with someone the same if not higher mental and spiritual density than mine. We get fashioned into a use-able tools or furniture abit at a time.
So i propose that we get into pairs and target all our prayer on individuals in the school, perhaps 5 person for each week, one a day. And see how much we hear concerning them. You never know you actually is hearing from God till you share with someone, your partner for a start to help sharpen you. You might be prophet in the making.

Hey guys, 
  its me again. How irritating! Muahahahahz! I shall bug you all till you all roll over the floor. Anywayz IGNITE is this Friday le, let's meet 5pm at Paya Lebar MRT this Friday. And other stuff I shall update you again on Friday Night, 18th January 2008.

Anyway just a few changes for Saturday, this is a message which Pastor Dan sent out...

Hi Leaders,
  we'll have to move our youths back to Cornerstone on Sat as we are making room in heart of God Church for other smaller churches. I know the Lord will honour our sacrifice and bless us for that :-) We'll be doing our session here with in house speakers and testimonies. It'll be from 2 - 5pm. Please inform your members and get everyone to come. It'll be amazing!

Since this is a cell blog, just wanted to share something that hopefully will impact you guys, its just one short story, its the Starfish story that many of you might have heard before le, but just to remind you of what difference something small does. =]

  As the old man walked the beach at dawn, he noticed a boy head of him picking up starfish and flinging them into the sea.
  Finally catching up with the boy, he asked why he was doing this. The answer was that the stranded Starfish would die if left until the morning sun.
  "But the beach goes on for miles and there are millions of starfish," said the old man. "How can your effort make any difference?"
  The boy looked at the starfish in his hand and then threw it safely into the waves. "It makes a difference to this one,"he said.

Everything that you do, it changes something. Because if Tiffany Yiu did not encourage me to go forward 3 years ago during One Big Day, I wouldn't be standing here today as your cell leader. You never know who your gonna impact next. Tiffany you have done something great in my life, cause you were the one who encouraged me to take the first step to become a Christian and I thank you for that, because if not I would still have been looking for answers still. 

Be sensitive to the Spirit, and you never know what your doing has made a difference in someone's life =]

Hey Guys,
  let's not lose focus on what's important ya? With all the flurry of activities let's remember to love our friends. Open Heavens conference has just been nothing short of just more of God and more of Him, Ignite conference is going to inspire you guys too. Heidi Baker has really been a blessing to us, let's remember what she said, to invite the blind, the maimed, the poor and the lame to the wedding banquet which our Father has prepared for His Son. We are not after the numbers, we are after lives that can be powerfully changed by the gospel of Jesus Christ, the reason that we live and the purpose of our very lives! Just a gentle reminder...

Happy New Year 2008! Countdown at cornerstone. Praise and worship was awesome! Pastor Yang's speech was awesome! Countdown was awesome! Everything was AAAWWWWEEESSSOOOOMMMEEE! Cause Cornerstone is way too AWESOME! So supper after that with the zone. Said lame jokes. Very lame jokes. Went to the beach after that at east coast park. Well, THEY had fun. 


Year 2008 is here! This year is definitely going to be a fruitful year for the cell and the Ngee Ann outreach. With events coming like Ignite and BIG Day , its going to be a cool year.(:

Gen 5.1 is still going to be a great family. Thanks to each and every person in the cell for what it is today. But most of all, thank God for bringing us altogether in this cell.

PS: Ngee Ann outreach this Thursday, 3/1/2008, at Matthew's house at 4pm. For those that can go, please try to make it.For those that can't, please inform Yao Yi if you are from Ngee Ann.
